Heather A. Patchen participated in the First Annual “Spin & Splash Summer Bash!” in support of the Sabrina Cohen Foundation for Stem Cell Research. The event was a fitness fundraiser, which kicked-off with a competitive spin class at Flywheel, followed by a festive pool party at Sunset Harbour Yacht Club.
“I’ve known Sabrina for a long time and she is a courageous woman, as well as a constant inspiration to me and so many others. I am proud to be supporting a good friend and a great cause.”
All funds raised at this event go towards the launch of “Sabrina’s Circle” – a Community Partners Program that directly supports a neuro-recovery fitness program offered by NeuroFit Gym, a specialized gym in Pembroke Pines. Funds raised from this event will be allocated as scholarships to locals with spinal cord injuries who can’t afford to pay for this specialized therapy.
